Doncaster team shortlisted at regional business award

The team at Doncaster has been shortlisted at one of the regions most prestigious business awards in the Large Business of the Year category.

Along with other DN postcode businesses, the team submitted its entry to the 23rd Doncaster Chamber Awards and are now looking forward to an in-person judging visit prior to the black-tie dinner on 16th December at Doncaster Racecourse, an event which historically has attracted over 1000 guests celebrating the very best of Doncaster business.

“This is another great achievement by the team and is particularly important after the challenges we have faced in the last 18 months,” said Karen Wagstaff, Finance Manager, Boxes and Packaging (Doncaster). “We will look forward to attending the event and will be hoping that we are the lucky winners this year!”

Other business shortlisted in the category sponsored by Atherton Godfrey Solicitors are Clarks Vehicle Conversions, Learning Curve Group, Polypipe, Synetiq and Volker Rail.

“Doncaster Chamber is a superb asset to the town and works tirelessly to support businesses, attract new businesses to the town and to be an advocate for all that is great about Doncaster,” said Karen. “We wish all of our fellow finalists the very best of luck and look forward to celebrating the fact that we are all winners really given that our businesses have survived and indeed thrived during the pandemic.”
