Team B&P taking part in charity Dragon Boat Race

A charity Dragon Boat Race has been organised to celebrate 125 years of our parent company and team B&P are taking part!

The team, which consists of twelve employees from across all sites of Boxes and Packaging and Boxshop, will row against other businesses that form part of our parent company including teams from Logson Group including Logson, Board24 and Cases 24, Jardin Corrugated, and Cardboard Box Company.

Team B&P will be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support and, with an amazing matching scheme that has been enhanced for the event, the team will receive double whatever they raise just for completing their heat! Taking part in the semi-final is three times the fundraising total, four times for reaching the final and, for the overall winners it’s five times the team fundraising total.

“We really want every member of the Boxes and Packaging and Boxshop sites to get behind their colleagues and make a donation to show their support and help us raise an amazing amount of money for this very important charity,” said Gavin Richardson, CEO, Boxes and Packaging. “Our team will bravely battle against their competitors – all we can do is hope that a little bit of luck comes our way too to complement our rigorous training regime!”

The event will take place in Belfast on 15th September 2021 with an anniversary dinner taking place afterwards.
