2019 in numbers

As 2019, and the decade, draw to a close we thought we’d take a look at Boxes and Packaging in numbers. It’s been a great year for us with lots of innovation and productivity as we continue to position corrugated solutions as the preferred packaging choice across such a wide variety of sectors.

So, as we sign off for 2019 here’s a few facts and stats as we look forward to a new decade in packaging.
Firstly, we wouldn’t be who we are without our employees all 490 of them who work across 10 sites from Dumbarton in the North to Swindon in the South.
Together we have sold 92 million square metres of corrugated board during the year, that’s an area bigger than 15,000 football pitches giving us a turnover of almost £74 million.
Our Make it Safe Health and Safety vision has ensured almost 600 Area Safety Inspections have been completed
In addition to making boxes we launched our Charity Challenge and have raised almost £18,000 for charity since May and that has seen our teams across the UK cycle, run and fall almost 750 miles! We’ve also helped over 10 charity or community projects through the donation of board or boxes to help with projects. We’re looking forward to seeing what we can achieve next year with new targets.
We’ve made almost 70 updates with our news on our website and almost 250 posts on our social media platforms sharing our news, and that from the industry and our customers. And, we’ve been shortlisted for 10 awards across the industry and the regions in which we operate.
