First Boxes and Packaging MD retires after 33 years in industry
04 Apr 2022
The Managing Director at the first Boxes and Packaging site acquired by the Logson Group in 2005 has retired from the business.
Paul Fishlock, Managing Director at Boxes and Packaging (Swindon) began his corrugated packaging career in 1989 and since he has been MD has grown the business from a turnover of £200,000 to almost £8m last year.
“The time has certainly flown by, but the time has come for me to hand over the reins to Josh and the team to take the business forward into its future,” said Paul. “It’s been a great place to work for so many years and see how the corrugated industry has evolved, but perhaps most of all is the great people that I have had the pleasure of working with.”
During his career Paul has been instrumental in moving the business into three different premises as it continued to grow, with a move seven years ago to their current factory.
Paul is now looking forward to spending time with his family, a well-earned holiday to Miami in just a few weeks’ time and having time to use his membership at his local David Lloyd gym.
Gavin Richardson, CEO, Boxes and Packaging commented; “Paul is the original Boxes and Packaging MD and has seen the business evolve considerably since 2005 and he leaves with our very best wishes for a happy retirement.
“He has a fantastic team at Swindon, many of whom have been with the business for several years, and I know that the business will continue to prosper.”
