Twenty Years service recognised at Swindon

Recently, David Ashley, Transport Manager at Boxes and Packaging (Swindon) celebrated 20 years’ service with the business.

David joined the team in 2003 as a sales and customer service advisor; a time when the business was much smaller than its current £8m operation.

Ten years ago, David was promoted to Transport Manager, having gained experience across the business from ordering artwork and tooling for new products to helping with sample making in the CAD system.

“It’s been a great time with the Boxes and Packaging team and to have seen how the introduction of technology and our operating system has transformed our operational capabilities,” said David. “It’s great that no two days are the same and I’m looking forward to my twenty-five-year anniversary which will be here before I know it!”

Boxes and Packaging (Swindon) was the original Boxes and Packaging site and was the first acquisition by the Logson Group. It operates from a 57,000 sq ft site that benefitted from a £1.3m investment last year maximising its output and enhancing operational capabilities and efficiencies.
