Team B&P stepping up for cancer again

Team B&P are lacing up their trainers and walking boots once again during March as almost 30 members of the team take part in the annual Cancer Research fund raiser; Walk All Over Cancer.

Challenged to walk 10,000 steps each day during March, all participants have their own fund-raising page which forms part of the team page. All monies raised during the month will be matched by the businesses parent company, which took last years total to a little over £16,000!

Last year’s participants enjoyed stunning sunrises, fog, rain and ice before the Northern participants enjoyed a spring heatwave with temperatures touching 23 degrees on the last day, meaning the sun cream was even dug out the cupboard!

Gavin Richardson, CEO, Boxes and Packaging commented; “It’s great to see even more members of the team getting behind the event this year and doing their bit for such a fantastic charity. Many of us are affected by cancer in one way or another and fundraising is essential to support ongoing research. I wish everyone taking part the very best of luck!”

Whether it’s a walk before work, steps around a factory or an evening stroll to the local every step really will count during March.
