Colleagues from Boxes and Packaging and Red Rose Packaging have a close and long-standing working relationship with AG/CAD, working together ensure they get the most from their KASEMAKE software and its 3D capabilities.
To build on the team's existing knowledge and introduce new ways of working, eight members of the design team took part in dedicated AG/CAD training. The sessions combined in-person training at AG/CAD's Cheshire office with online training via TeamViewer, giving the team a flexible and practical learning experience.
The training covered both 2D and 3D functionality within KASEMAKE, helping designers develop their understanding of the software while identifying tools and processes that could be applied directly to their day-to-day work.
Paul Barnes, Northern regional designer at Boxes and Packaging commented; “The benefits of the training were particularly evident for our everyday use of KASEMAKE's 3D functionality and appreciate the latest software updates which had been applied.
"I work closely with the AG/CAD team to get the best out of the software. The training gave me even more insight into the 3D tools available but also highlighted some really useful buttons and commands hiding in plain sight from the 2D side of Kasemake."
The AG/CAD training has provided more than an introduction to new software features. It has helped our award-winning design teams uncover functionality within KASEMAKE that can be applied directly to their everyday work.
From checking fit and tolerances in 3D to working with customer supplied STEP files and discovering previously underused 2D tools, the training has helped the team improve their understanding of the software and incorporate more of its capabilities into their design workflow.
The combination of hands-on training, online support, and an ongoing relationship provide a strong foundation for continued learning and development.
The result is a design team that is making greater use of KASEMAKE's capabilities, helping them work more efficiently, reduce unnecessary material use and approach complex packaging projects with even greater confidence.
Stacey Austin, Regional Managing Director, Boxes and Packaging added; “Continuous learning and development is key to our ongoing design success and the feedback from the team has been entirely positive.
“Our thanks to Andy Dalgliesh and the AG/CAD team who support our designers to excel in the designs and solutions they create for our customers.”
