Joint winners of our trophy at WineGB awards 2024

We were delighted to sponsor a trophy at this year’s WineGB awards once again which was held recently at Draper’s Hall, London.

Judging was tough and this year there were joint winners for ‘The Berwick Trophy’ we sponsored, for Best Blanc de Blancs. Harrow and Hope Blanc de Blancs 2018 and Woodchester Valley Blanc De Blancs 2018 were the lucky winners in this emerging category

Jonathan Lewis, Managing Director, Boxes and Packaging (Oxford) who presented the award commented; “These awards just get bigger and better every year as more and more wine producers are established in Great Britain. It’s amazing to see what they are achieving, and my warmest congratulations go to winners of our trophy and everyone who was recognised at the event.”

This year wines from thirteen different counties were awarded and the highest number of Gold medals every given were awarded.

Furthermore, North Yorkshire got its first trophy for Dunesforde Vineyard’s Still Pinot Gris 2022 which won Best Single Varietal White and the regional trophy for Midland and North.
