Leicester team support Diwali festival

Diwali and the New Year are two of the most important and colourful festivals of the Hindu calendar; a time to celebrate and reinforce family values, charity and goodwill.

Boxes and Packaging (Leicester) was delighted to once again support the BAPS Swaminarayan charity’s Diwali and New Year event that took place in Leicester recently and which saw over 13,000 people attend the celebration.

“We are very pleased that we were able to support this amazing event in our local community and home city,” said Gregor Troup, Managing Director of Boxes and Packaging (Leicester). “So many people attend this event and it’s a superb way for Leicester residents, and those that travel to this iconic celebration, to appreciate this most important Hindu festival.”

The sheets of board were used to construct various scenes which supported the Hindu Diwali and new year festival.

Dipak Kalyan, Temple Manager commented, “Thanks to Gregor and the team at Boxes and Packaging (Leicester) we were to create a wonderful visual spectacle for all our visitors to enjoy during the celebrations.”
