Team B&P to exhibit at CarFest North

Team B&P is delighted to announce that they are to exhibit two brand new corrugated cars at CarFest North after their cardboard Lamborghini caught the eye of Chris Evans and festival organisers earlier this year.

The Lamborghini, which was created for a student career fair in Doncaster, got a mention on the Virgin Radio Chris Evan Breakfast show and since then the teams from B&P Doncaster and Cardboard Box Company, have been working together to commission two brand new cars and competitions for festival visitors to enjoy.

Members of the team from Boxes and Packaging (Doncaster) and Cardboard Box company, will be helping to staff the stand during the three-day event which takes place at Bolesworth Castle, in Cheshire.

Two full size cardboard supercars will be on stand with visitors taking part in a Formula 1 style pit stop challenge to change all four wheels in the fastest time possible. The person who does it in the fastest time each day will receive a prize to allow them to enjoy an experience at one of Yorkshire’s most amazing family attractions.

Stacey Austin, Managing Director, Northern Regional Managing Director commented; “This is a great opportunity to showcase corrugated as an amazingly versatile packaging material and have some fun with those that visit our stand.

“Perhaps we will inspire some of our younger visitors to take a career into our industry, however all the monies that we raise on our stand over the weekend will be charity matched by our parent company and go to CarFest charities – the reason why we’re there.”
