Leicester team supports local charity
17 Dec 2021
Christmas is a time for giving, and our Leicester team was very happy to support a local legacy with the donation of boxes to support the work that they do – providing comfort boxes to families who have sadly suffered the loss of a baby.
Harrison’s Hope was setup in 2019 in memory of a little boy, Harrison Hassall, who sadly gained his angel wings aged two days old. As a result, his Mum Holly, set up this legacy to help other bereaved families.
“We are very happy to support Hollie and the amazing work that she does to help families who find themselves in the most awful situations,” said Gregor Troup, Managing Director, Boxes and Packaging (Leicester). “We hope that it helps Holly continue to support others and that in due course, Harrison’s legacy receives the charity status recognition that it deserves.”
Much help and support is given from volunteers and people in the surrounding communities to help make the items that go inside Harrison’s comfort boxes – everything is handmade by those directly involved with Harrison’s legacy, or by their generous supporters.
Holly commented; “We really do rely on volunteers to make everything happen including our comfort boxes and the fundraising that we do for Leicester Royal Infirmary and its Neonatal Unit. Our warmest thanks go to everyone who supports what we do, it means everything.”
