Over 70 exhibitors from the world of wine production in the UK attended, the first face to face exhibition for some time.

“There are so many elements that go into making the GB wine industry the great success that it is, and packaging is critical to ensuring the product can be shipped safely with robust transit packs, dividers and fittings,” said Jonathan Lewis, Managing Director, Boxes and Packaging (Oxford). “However, it can also play a huge part in marketing the product and our gift packaging solutions can provide super retail solutions too.”

Working with some of the most renowned vineyards in the UK, the team at B&P (Oxford) has expertise in the area, pioneering material efficient, eye-catching designs for both gift and transit packaging solutions. Indeed, Jonathan, the site MD has over twenty years’ experience in guiding winemakers through the process of choosing the right packaging, and has seen the industry grow exponentially in that time.

“It is superb to see this sector continuing to grow and flourish and become such a flagship for innovative business in the UK, said Jonathan. “Corrugated has demonstrated time and time again why it’s such a superb material to protect and present the products in the winemaking industry and we look forward to continuing to support them and showing the innovative ways in which it can be utilised.”
