Design teams make UK Packaging Awards shortlist

We are delighted that several of our design solutions have made it to the shortlist at this year’s UK Packaging Awards.

Entries from our Doncaster, Manchester and Merseyside sites are all represented after an extremely busy year saw an unprecedented amount of innovative packaging solutions created.

With designs in the Supply Chain Solution of the Year, Online Retail and Consumer and Retail Ready and Point of Sale categories the designers, Stephen Ward, Adam Chorlton, John Lavelle and Ian Pierce, are rightly proud of their achievements this far.

“Apparently, but not unexpectedly, there was an unprecedented number of entries into the awards this year, so it is a fantastic achievement by the team to have made these category shortlists,” said Gavin Richardson, CEO, Boxes and Packaging. “Well done to all our designers and we look forward to hearing the winner announced at the gala dinner and awards ceremony later this year.”

The glittering black tie event will take place at The Brewery in London on 12th November 2021. Typically attended by key businesses from across all areas of the UK packaging sector, it is a great event to recognise the innovation displayed in this fast-moving sector where recycling and sustainability continue to be a priority for all.
