The impact of Covid-19 on industry conferences and events continues to pose challenges however, it is most pleasing to see that the Packaging News team has today commenced its Environmental Packaging Week – A sustainable future.
Taking place each day this week representatives from CPI, WRAP and FSC amongst others will be engaging with virtual audiences to discuss a variety of topics pertaining to the environmental aspects associated with all types of packaging – a topic which continues to be front and centre for many ranging from manufacturers to end users.
Monday 9th will see single use and multiple challenges discussed after an event opening from journalist Lucy Siegle. Tuesday 10th’s theme is, The pressure to reduce carbon, Wednesday; Is the refillable and reusable revolution still on, Thursday 12th asks How Government will influence innovation and Friday 13th, Packaging sustainability post Covid-19.
All the topics will provide an insight into each subject matter bringing professional knowledge and pertinent discussion on things most relevant to the packaging industry across a range of products and sectors.
