Scotland sites appoint new Managing Director

08 Apr 2020

Boxes and Packaging (Dumbarton) and Boxshop, which is part of the Boxes and Packaging and Logson Group, has appointed a new Managing Director to lead the businesses into the next chapter of their history.

Jennifer Riddell-Dillet joined the team, and the packaging industry, earlier this year and brings years of manufacturing experience to the business. She has an Engineering Degree from the University of Strathclyde (BEng Hons) and is also a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Engineering.

“I’ve worked in the manufacturing industry since leaving University and love the diverse nature and daily challenges that it brings,” said Jennifer. “I’m now looking forward to learning about the corrugated packaging industry and guiding the business into a new and exciting phase.

“I am particularly looking forward to the dual site responsibilities and how this fully recyclable product made from sustainable material integrates into both current and future business models and the desire that society and businesses have to become more sustainable. Being part of the wider Logson Group also brings depth and diversity to the supply chain and we are in a superb position to make a real difference to sustainable packaging.”

Boxshop has been established for over 30 years and was acquired by the Logson Group in 2016. Boxes and Packaging (Dumbarton) joined the group in 2010.

Jennifer concluded; “There is a great team in place at both sites which bring great stability and considerable experience. Continuing, and developing the success of the business in Scotland is a wonderful opportunity and I am confident we can play a significant part in the success of the Boxes and Packaging group.”

Away from work Jennifer enjoys spending time with her two sports mad sons which generally involves watching a lot of rugby, cricket, skiing and other sports that they participate in! She is also a keen runner, skier and loves nothing more than exploring the beautiful hills of Scotland whenever time permits.
