It’s a ‘board’ game!
09 Dec 2019
You know that we love any ‘board’ game, but playing a family board game over Christmas is one of the great pleasures of the festive season. And this year, our Leicester team has gone one step further in supporting this tradition by creating and supplying cardboard sleeves for a bespoke version of Monopoly.
The Norfolk Hospice, has designed its own North and West Norfolk version of the game to commemorate it’s thirty-fifth anniversary and players are able to buy iconic locations in the beautiful area of Norfolk instead of those in London typically associated with the game.
“This is a superb fundraising initiative and one which we were very happy to support when we donated the packaging sleeves for this game,” said Gregor Troup Managing Director Boxes and Packaging (Leicester). “It’s a brilliantly, innovative idea and we hope that it generates much fundraising for the charity which plays such an important part in the North and West Norfolk community.”
The board game is now available to buy and sales from this will generate significant funds to support individuals, families and communities across North and West Norfolk who rely on the services the charity provides.
“We currently support over 1200 families and hope that over the next thirty-five years we can increase this and help even more people,” said Tammy Green Senior Fundraising Manager The Norfolk Hospice. “Our thanks go to Boxes and Packaging for their kind donation, and to all other partners that have supported us to ensure this project came to fruition.”
