Annual conference for MD’s takes place

Managing Directors from each of the Boxes and Packaging sites have attended an annual conference to share ideas and best practice.

The Site MD’s, were joined by Boxes and Packaging CEO Gavin Richardson, Logson Group Sales Director Gareth Stell, and other member of the B&P(UK) team at the centrally located Hilton Hotel in Leicester for a conference to outline objectives, review performance and procedure and understand the wider Logson Group strategic plans.

Gavin Richardson CEO Boxes and Packaging commented; “This year’s focus was on Health and Safety, the work that has been undertaken and the implementation of the AssessNet software that will facilitate more streamlined and standardised ways of recording all matters pertaining to Health and Safety. It is important that we all take time to participate in this annual event to share ideas and information and also reinforce the relationships that we have as a team.”

During the day, the strategic vision of the business was reinforced, certificates of completion were awarded for Work Place Transport projects that have been successfully implemented and information shared regarding other elements of the business including marketing, finance and the charity challenge that all sites have been asked to participate in.

Managing Directors from the ten sites across the UK, which range from £3m to £11m turnover attended the event. Each site operates with an autonomous management structure, which helps to drive site specific specialities in both product and service.

It is this approach to the management structure of the business that ensures individuality alongside corporate expectations and policies, delivering strategic growth and vision alongside continued success.
