16 Apr 2019

How long have you been with the company?
Over 17 years, but I have been in the industry as a designer for 26 years.

What’s the most unusual/most difficult thing you’ve ever created a design for?
One of the most difficult was a street light. I had to come up with 3 different design solutions!

What do you enjoy about working at B&P?
Being able to give the customer a packaging solution which is best suited to their needs.

What did you want to be growing up?
I wanted to be an artist from an early age but later moved towards design.

If you could pick up a new skill in an instant what would it be?
Professional DIYer. Home improvements take forever when teaching yourself.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard?
Only spend what you can afford – my parents told me this when I got my first part time job.

What’s your favourite family tradition?
Boxing day family poker night – what could be better!

At which store would you like to max-out your credit card?
If I had a credit card to max out, it would have to be in PC World on a new computer and extras.

What was your favourite TV show when growing up?
The Incredible Hulk; makes you realise how special effects have changed for the better though!

What’s the future for corrugated design?
The corrugated packaging market continues to grow. Requests from customers to replace existing foam/plastic boxes and inserts are becoming more frequent and this can only continue to be good for the company and the environment.
