New Casemaker Brings Added Benefits

19 Feb 2019

Cases24, our sister company and part of the Logson Group, is benefitting from the installation of a new case maker supporting its high volume trade customers.

The latest generation Latitude PP1025 three colour casemaker with Dücker pre-feeder and load former is capable of running at speeds in excess of 250 cases per minute and will facilitate Cases24’s core business; high volume, trade only cases.

This latest investment, driven by customer demand and market growth, will allow Cases24 to offer enhanced print and die cut capabilities coupled with excellent lead time consistency throughout periods of peak demand and offers support to the wider Logson Group with its ability to facilitate high volume work.

“Investment continues at Cases24 to enable us to remain a market leader in the supply of high volume cases with typically competitive lead times,” said Alex Morris Managing Director Cases24. “This will be particularly evident in Q4, our busiest period of each year, and the installation of the latest casemaker will enable us to cope proficiently with the seasonal fluctuations in required output. Boxes and Packaging benefit from the new machine being able to offer the full portfolio of corrugated packaging at cost effective prices.”

“Cases24 is complimentary to the core business model of Boxes and Packaging and combined gives us the ability to fulfil all aspects of the corrugated market from raw material, to high volume cases to bespoke and niche packaging solutions,” said Gavin Richardson CEO Boxes and Packaging. “It is pleasing to see that investment continues across the group positioning the Logson Group as the UK’s leading independent corrugated group of companies.”
