Strictly Come Boxes!

A charity dance competition to raise vital funds for a children’s hospice has had two unexpected stars of the show; a couple of boxes courtesy of our Leicester site.

The Boxes and Packaging (Leicester) team were approached by Rainbows Hospice in Loughborough to assist with one of its fundraising events – a dance competition which saw members of the Rainbows team performing a routine as Woody and Jessie from the iconic Toy Story films. This is where our help was needed as the ‘dolls’ were performing as if boxed in a toy shop!

Gregor Troup Managing Director Boxes and Packaging (Leicester) commented; “People from around this area are aware of Rainbows Hospice and the fantastic work they do and we were very happy to support them in this small way. Jessie and Woody performed incredibly well on the night and most pleasingly, our boxes were admired in addition to the dance routines undertaken by the pair!”

The event has raised almost £7,000 for the hospice which supports children and young people. It relies solely on donations and fundraising initiatives to provide a vital service and care programme to children and families in need.
