Boxes and Packaging Completes Sale of Glasgow Timber Packaging Business

With effect from 9^th April 2018 the trade and assets of Boxes and Packaging (Glasgow) Ltd. have been acquired by Pallet 2 Packaging Ltd. The business will continue to trade under its new owners, who are established industry professionals with the experience and skills required to refocus the business and move it forward to continue to supply the Scottish timber market.

Boxes and Packaging will now focus on strengthening our leading position within the Scottish sheet plant sector.

Pallet 2 Packaging have bought the business in its entirety and recognise the goodwill that has been created through good relationships with existing customers, suppliers and employees and as such they are keen to ensure that they protect that value by working hard to maintain these connections.

Boxes and Packaging will ensure a smooth handover of the business; no major changes are planned for the business in the short term.

Pallet 2 Packaging Limited is a newly created joint venture between the owners of Scott Group, the UK’s leading supplier of timber pallet and packaging solutions, and Pallet 2 Ltd who are an emerging provider of reconditioned pallets.
