Starpack Awards Confirmed
23 Feb 2018
We are delighted to announce that both Boxes and Packaging entries to the 2018 Starpack Awards have received awards.
A silver was awarded to Oxford whilst a bronze went to the team at Bristol. The results were confirmed at the recent awards dinner which took place in London.
“We are delighted to confirm that both entries received recognition at these highly competitive awards acknowledging the flair and commitment to innovation that our design teams display,” said Emma Beer Marketing Manager Boxes and Packaging (UK) Ltd. “We are already looking forward to seeing what the teams will present at our forthcoming design conference which takes place in a matter of weeks, and which provides the base for our annual award entries to both Starpack and the UK Packaging Awards.”
The Silver award credited Boxes and Packaging (Oxford) for its innovation in creating a new pack for its client Monsoon Pumps which eliminated plastic from a previous design and provided robust protection for a weight pump during transit. Meanwhile, Boxes and Packaging (Bristol) received a Bronze award for its Botanic Lab Chilled Transit Pack which saw corrugated utilised to keep a premium sports drink at the required transport during transit to the customer.
“Starpack has been recognising design and innovation in all aspects of the packaging industry for decades and these awards highlight the important place that corrugated packaging plays in brand awareness, marketing and in delivering practical and aesthetically pleasing packaging solutions,” said Emma. “It is a great forum to view all aspects of the packaging industry and we offer our warmest congratulations to all our fellow winners.”
