Rising Through The Ranks Sees Oxford MD Driving Success

One of our most recent additions to the Managing Director team is Jonathan Lewis who has responsibility for our Oxford site.

Enjoying a sustained period of growth attributed to their expertise in the e-commerce sector and supporting the ever-growing UK wine industry, Jonathan has been driving forward innovation and creativity in this area.

His career has always been in the packaging industry with his penultimate role as a Regional Sales Manager for Boxes and Packaging sites at Bristol, Swindon and Oxford. Upon the retirement on the previous MD, Jonathan and his drive, enthusiasm and experience was ideal to steer and develop the Oxford site into a new era.

“Having experience of how the site worked, the opportunities for growth and first-hand experience of the sales strategy has been most useful,” said Jonathan. “Having the autonomy to run the Oxford site whilst reaping all the benefits from the wider Boxes and Packaging group is a real highlight and brings many positives to the role. It’s great to see positive progress as a result of the actions myself and the team take and ensure that we continue to capitalise on current trends and demands from the corrugated industry.”

In 2018 the team are focusing on achieving BRC status and will continue to supports its existing customers with progressive thinking and help new customers elevate their brand status and visibility through packaging.

Away from the heady world of cardboard Jonathan can wield a badminton racket with some talent and loves to create delicious food, particularly Indian.
