What a Difference a Year Makes

03 Jan 2017

They say that time flies when you are having fun and our Swindon team have certainly enjoyed a prosperous year since they moved to their brand new site just over 12 months ago.

As well as increasing its production capacity with the installation of a new 3.2m, two colour rotary diecutter which runs at 11,000 sheets per hour, a host of other investments have been made to ensure each element of the business is efficient and process driven.

A new office suite which is three times bigger than at the previous site has allowed recruitment to take place. Staff are supported by a large multi media training room with state of the art facilities and 120 high speed data lines and exceptional wi-fi coverage allow efficient communications to take place across all platforms.

The finished goods warehouse capacity has been quadrupled, a 55 metre mezzanine gives storage space for production tooling, an onsite ink mixing system gives greater flexibility and a large design department has allowed the team to increase its team investing in the long term future of the business by training someone in this bespoke industry skill.

“This new site and all that it offers has certainly changed the way in which we operate delivering great benefits for staff and customers alike,” said Paul Fishlock Managing Director Boxes and Packaging Swindon. “Continued investment and process management will ensure the long term future and success of the business and we look forward to exciting opportunities in 2017.”
