Helping Britain get on its Bike!

More and more businesses are discovering how versatile corrugated packaging is and the strength and flexibility it can provide to multi component, irregular shaped products.
One such product is a bicycle and, as the sport continues to grow in popularity on the back of the Tour de France and Tour de Yorkshire, Boxes and Packaging has become the chosen supplier to a number of cycle manufactures and retailers across the UK.
One of those is Mango Bikes – with whom our Swindon site has established a supply agreement – and the Mango Bikes team has been amazed at the creativity of our design team and the robustness of the new pack we designed to ship and protect its bikes during transit to the customer.
“A bike is not the easiest of products to pack but our expertise and knowledge was well placed to create a solution that far out reached the customers’ expectations,” said Paul Fishlock, Managing Director at Boxes and Packaging (Swindon). “Through innovative design, cost savings have been made as bike damage and customer returns have been reduced to a minimum – protecting key elements and components of each bike.”
In addition to the robustness of the pack we also ensured that it was easy to assemble the box, minimising packing time by the Mango Bikes team.
“The team were so impressed with our packaging solution that they created a short video to demonstrate its strength and sturdiness,” said Paul. “Furthermore, it highlights how the bike requires minimal customer assembly upon receipt enhancing the customer experience and the profile of Mango Bikes as a reputable and prestigious brand.”
