Our staff clock up over 4,000 years of service!

Members of staff with commitment and dedication are essential to any successful business, and holding on to valued staff and encouraging them to develop within a business is important to retain employees, inspire staff morale and promote engagement.

As such we are proud of the fact that staff from the B & P team have amassed in excess of a staggering 4,000 years of service with the company! Our longest serving member of staff exceeds three decades and it is this strength and depth of experience across all sectors of the business, that positions us as one of the UK’s most respected packaging businesses.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, to provide the next generation of long serving employees, the company remains committed to investing in its future. Apprentices are common place across each site with opportunities on accounting, sales, administration, design and production to introduce prospective employees to the packaging world, whilst they gain valuable qualifications and experience to shape their future careers.

Furthermore, our existing team is supported in their career aspirations with in-house and external training taking place where appropriate and several of our sites engage with schools in their local communities to encourage careers in all aspects of a manufacturing business.
