Swindon settled into new site

06 Oct 2015

Boxes and Packaging Swindon embarked on the journey to relocate to new premises back in February this year. The site has now been relocated into a modern energy efficient building just three miles away from its previous location. The site has been kitted out to ensure the business continues to provide customers with innovative packaging solutions, high quality products and excellent customer service.

The new site offers 56,900 sq. ft. of modern industrial accommodation, with a total site area of approximately 2.7 acres. Facilities include a two storey office block and a large production area. As part of the £1m relocation, Boxes and Packaging also invested in new machinery to complement existing machinery.

Situated at the rear of the building is a fully enclosed warehouse which doubles the amount of storage capacity for the site. It provides nine ground floor loading / unloading bays, which are fully contained to respect both the safety of our employees and the ease of operation. A new 50 metre long mezzanine floor has been installed to give extra capacity for services.

Swindon Managing Director, Paul Fishlock comments; “Having outgrown our old premises some years ago, it was the right time for us to find new premises. Relocating to the new site is an important step in our growth strategy, it has given us a much better production facility, along with new offices providing space and meeting facilities in order to expand our product offering and improve customer service.”
