B&P (Manchester) Support Local St Ann’s Hospice
15 Aug 2014
Boxes and Packaging (Manchester) has donated some products in support of St Ann’s Hospice Forget Me Not appeal. Boxes and Packaging supplied materials to hold the Forget Me Not wooden flowers that had been dedicated in memory of people locally and were on display at the Hospice throughout July.
Names of loved ones are hand-written on the wooden flowers which are displayed at the hospice sites at Heald Green, Little Hulton and the Neil Cliffe Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital.
Gary Hargreaves Boxes and Packaging (Manchester) Managing Director commented; “last year we supported the hospice by completing the Three Peaks Challenge, this year we have gone for a less strenuous approach and supported the hospice by donating our products to support their Forget Me Not campaign. We have been proud to support the hospice again this year in their quest to deliver first class care to their patients.”
St Ann’s Hospice cares and helps around 3,000 patients (over the age of 16) and their families and carers every year who are affected by cancer and non-cancer life limiting illnesses. The campaign raised more than £35,000, which will be used to provide care for patients.
Stewart Graham, Individual Giving Officer, thanked the Boxes and Packaging team; “Thanks Gary to you and everyone at Boxes and Packaging for your support and for offering to cover the cost of the materials for our campaign this year. We really appreciate your help with this.”
