To create a new design to improve packing line times

Design:
This retail ready pack was redesigned to reduce our clients labour time on packing lines and was achieved by changing from a corrugated self-assembly pack to a solid board, litho printed crash lock glued box.
The internal fitting - which allows a variety of options to pack and display a selection of shower components - is erected separately and inserted into the outer box with ease and simplicity. Its universal appeal contributes to the reduced time spent packing the product. This is also flood colour printed to enhance visual appeal and maintain corporate colour branding throughout the pack.
To achieve improved brand perception, as outlined by our client, we took the decision to move the design from flexo printing to litho printing giving them more freedom with artwork to elevate brand status in the market place. The change in fitting design now allows the end user to view the product prior to purchase giving confidence in the selection process and brand.
Outcome:
The redesign of the pack has saved time for our client when packing products due to the simplicity of erecting the outer box and inserting the products into the internal fitting. We have been able to reduce material content and streamline manufacturing processes whilst representing the brand in a positive way to the consumer market.
It highlights our commitment to finding tangible print and packaging solutions to fulfil a variety of customer requirements.
