New career initiative supported by Doncaster team

Opportunities Doncaster, a newly launched joint initiative between Doncaster Chamber of Commerce and Doncaster Council will hold its first live event next February and Boxes and Packaging (Doncaster) is proud to be one of the event sponsors.

The initiative which aims to ‘Engage, Exhibit, Educate and Inspire’ young people in terms of careers, education and life skills for the world of work will host the event at Doncaster Racecourse on Thursday 13th February 2020.

“This is a great idea and shows the commitment of Doncaster business people in helping future generations to appreciate the diverse range of employment opportunities that are now available in the town,” said Stuart Clarke Managing Director Boxes and Packaging (Doncaster) “Many Doncaster businesses have already pledged their support and the event promises to be truly inspirational.”

The interactive event enables employers and education providers to engage with over 3,000 young people to inform and inspire them about the variety of career pathways available to them in Doncaster.

“I would urge other Doncaster businesses to get involved and exhibit at this event; by doing so you are helping drive enthusiasm and educate the town’s future workforce,” said Stuart. “We are very proud to support this excellent initiative which is a blueprint for how engagement between business and young people can be truly beneficial.”

Boxes and Packaging (Doncaster) has been an employer in the town for over 40 years.
